Review of Choo Choo’s
Over All Impression: It’s okay.
This is what we got:
the momma: Grilled Bacon and Cheese with Tomato Sandwich with chips and a pickle. It was okay the chips were ridged and I don’t remember the pickle at all. At this point I am not even sure if there was one on the plate.
the dadda: Fried Fish, Fries and Cole Slaw, it was good overall.
Doodle Bug: Chicken Fingers and Fries
Atmosphere: The train running around the dining room was fun for the kids to watch.
Bathrooms: No area to change Turtle Boy in the restrooms so the momma changed him on the sink and the dadda changed him on the floor. Yep he had a double!
Menu: Basic, traditional, diner items. The dessert items looked tempting but we passed.
Would we go back: maybe but there are several other places in Madeira I would like to try before heading back to Choo Choo’s.
Try it for breakfast instead. Kid loves the french toast and mom and dad like the cheese omelet and breakfast potatoes. Fast and very affordable. We like to go very early before it gets crowded.
